The Iowa State Fair announced its additional butter sculpture for 2014 – “The Field of Dreams”. The big sculpture is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the amazing film starring Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones that was filmed in Dyersville, Iowa.
The feel-good film is based on the novel “Shoeless Joe” written by W. P. Kinsella, a former graduate student at the University of Iowa.
The baseball sculpture will stand next to Iowa’s internationally famous Butter Cow in the Agriculture Building. And as always, they will be sculpted by the amazing Sarah Pratt.
