Furry Friday – Rutherford

It’s time to talk love and this guy is begging to be yours!  It’s Furry Friday featuring an adorable adoptable from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.

This time it’s Rutherford, a black and white boxer that is all, well, boxer!

Rutherford 2From the ARL:

BIG FAN OF: Moving! Rutherford is a high-energy guy who loves to be active. He’d likely love daily walks, runs, nature hikes, and maybe even swimming.

NOT A FAN OF: Keeping his feet to himself. When Rutherford gets really excited he becomes pretty jumpy and mouthy. Positive-reinforcement-based classes would be great for helping him learn some manners.

SPECIAL FEATURES: He’s a genius!!! Rutherford knows sit, down, stay, shake, and come. He probably has the best sit in town.

DREAM HOME: A more mature home would be best for Rutherford as he sometimes gets pretty bouncy and forgets to watch out for those around him. He has had limited interaction with dogs here, so an introduction to any resident dogs is required before going home.

And, of course, there are plenty of other cats, dogs and bunnies looking for love, if you have some to give.
