Furry Friday – Butters!!

I am in love with this face!  Look how happy Butters is!  He’s my adorable adoptable from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa this week.

butters 3As you can see from the description from the ARL, Butters needs a little training.  He needs some help with manners and a leash.  But other than that, he is loving, energetic and wants to be with his people.  So, in my estimation, pretty much perfect. 🙂

From the ARL:

BIG FAN OF: Playing and being active.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Butters thinks everything is fun, interesting and meant for play — especially you! Anything you do, he’ll want to do, too. He’s a dog who will keep you on your toes — and the fun is guaranteed. He currently knows sit, down and come, but classes would be ideal. They’ll help him work on his manners and form a strong bond with you. He can be a bit rowdy with other dogs, so plan on an intro with any resident dogs before taking him home.butters 2

OTHER REASONS HE’S SPECIAL: Butters thinks of the leash as a toy right now and likes to tug on it and pull. Adopters will meet with a member of our behavior team to talk about ways to work with him on this so walks can be a good experience for everyone.

DREAM HOME: With an active family who will provide him with exercise and lots of toys. He’d love to attend training classes!

Please Adopt, Don’t Shop. -Kate
