Furry Friday – Indy!

With the amazing weather this weekend I decided Furry Friday would be the perfect time to promote a fantastic horse.  I picked Indy, honestly, because she looks a little like me. 🙂  She and several of her friends are ready for your farm or ranch now at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.

indy 2Indy’s gorgeous curly mane is just amazing.  Here’s more from the ARL:

Indy is a great little gal who was born at the shelter on Independence Day in 2014. She’s cute and will be small, probably pony size. Indy has good manners and tons of potential. She was part of a demonstration with Bob Smith at the Iowa Horse Fair and handled the crowds and noise like a champ. She’s young, so she’ll be a project, but she’ll make a great little pony for someone who can work with her and train her. We’re pretty sure she is half mustang.

She is currently in foster and can be seen by appointment. She has been wormed and vaccinated. If you are interested in meeting her or learning more about her, please contact Judy at jhand@arl-iowa.org or (515) 473-9112.

Please Adopt, Don’t Shop. -Kate
