Furry Friday – Hercules

Today is (or was, by the time you read this) National Dog Day!  So, my adorable adoptable from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa had to be Hercules!  He’s gorgeous, he’s sweet, and he’s really ready to play with you.

HerculesFrom the ARL:

HERCULES IS A BIG FAN OF: Playing and being with people.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Hercules is friendly, active and always ready for fun. He loves being scratched and petted, but he’s also off like a shot when you toss him a ball or toy. He likes to prance around with his toys once he has them, but he’s good at trading them out for other toys. He’ll be a great exercise buddy and will love to join you on all your fun outings. He currently knows come and is crate-trained, but classes would be a great way to bond.

OTHER REASONS HE’S SPECIAL: He has lived with other dogs but can be a bit of a rowdy player, so plan on a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs before taking him home to make sure everyone’s play styles are compatible.

DREAM HOME: With active guardians who will enjoy playing with him and making him part of the family. He can be a bit too rowdy for little kids, so needs a teens-and-up home right now.

Please Adopt, Don’t Shop. -Kate
