Congratulations!  You have nearly survived what has seemed like the longest political season in history.  (We’re in Iowa, so I am pretty sure it actually started the day after President Obama was inaugurated in 2012.)

Get out and vote – poll hours Election Day – 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Iowa.

However if, like me, this election is stressing you out, forget the pharmaceuticals and get a pet instead!  It’s a perfect prescription to help alleviate hand-wringing, hair-pulling, and general anxiety.  (Seriously, Google it, there are medical facts to back it up.)
