Are you a Spider-Man fan? Are you Marvel fan? Then this is the trailer you have been waiting for!
A lot of people feel like this is the long overdue reboot that Peter Parker deserves. And, as a Marvel girl, I am happy to have the series back in Marvel Studios hands. Sony still technically has the property on contract, but they smartly handed creative control back to Peter’s birthplace.
I love everything about this trailer including Michael Keaton as the Vulture, an everyman villain with a personal agenda. And, Tony Stark as Iron Man – he is the through-line for Marvel, and in this case, makes the perfect friend and foil to the young Peter. If you know the egoist that Tony was, you know how apt and heartbreaking the line he says here, “If you’re nothing without the suit then you shouldn’t have it,” really is.
