Furry Friday – Going to the Dogs!

This week I am featuring Diesel because, well, look at that face!  Plus, from the description below, I think he is the perfect dog for anyone who wants to have fun and burn off some energy.

But I am also featuring ALL dogs from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa because they are currently overwhelmed with adorable adoptables.  Every day of the year they have way too many cats, but right now they are in overflow for dogs.  So, if you have been thinking about adopting, now is a great time because they also have a huge “selection” of fur-babies waiting to be yours!

diesel 2About Diesel from the ARL:

BIG FAN OF: Treats and toys.

NOT A FAN OF: Staying still. Diesel likes to be on the move, whether it be running, playing or just sniffing around.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Diesel is a gorgeous dog with a huge smile. He’s definitely active and will need lots of regular exercise. He might be a great jogging partner! He already knows sit, stay and come but would love to learn more with his new family. He pulls pretty hard on a leash right now, but a Gentle Leader would help a lot with that.

DREAM HOME: With an active family who will exercise and play with him. He has done well with other dogs, but according to his previous family he has never been around cats.
