Furry Friday – Cats & Kittens!

2It’s Spring and that means the Animal Rescue League of Iowa is overwhelmed with pets looking for furever homes.  This is especially true of cats and kittens, because, as I see it, somehow felines are more ‘disposable’ to people, or somehow it’s 5‘their fault’ they got pregnant – not the human’s who didn’t get them spayed.  (Rant over.)

So, in coordination this week with a little contest we have going on – where you can win $500 for you and $500 for the ARL – I wanted to feature all of the cats and kittens up for adoption.  Follow this link and see that there are endless blondes, 1tuxedos, calicos, Follow this link and see that there are endless blondes, tuxedos, calicos, tortis, ebonies and others looking for your lap or a warm place in the sun by your window.  3

Please Adopt, Don’t Shop – there are plenty of cats (dogs, horses, etc.) who are already in the world and need a home.

Thank you,

Kate
