Furry Friday – CyHawk Edition!

All right Cyclone and Hawkeye fans it’s time to step up!  I am featuring two dogs today who are decked out for the big game and they are both – ADORABLE!!!  And super happy, just look at them!

Destiny and Johnny are both ready for a furever home at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.  Go team!  (That means you!  Go adopt them. 🙂 )

destiny 2About Destiny, from the ARL:

BIG FAN OF: Going for long walks or runs and generally being active.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Destiny is a curious, energetic girl who loves being with her people and just enjoying life. She has plenty of destiny 3energy, but she also loves to snuggle up close so you can scratch and pet her. She currently knows sit and shake and would love to learn more.

DREAM HOME: With an active family who will take her on daily walks or runs and provide plenty of toys for her to play with. She’s a pretty energetic player, so plan on a meet-and-greet with other dogs to make sure everyone’s play styles are compatible.

Johnny 2About Johhny, from the ARL:

BIG FAN OF: Tennis balls, playing tug and rolling in the grass.

NOT A FAN OF: Some other dogs. He can be shy.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Johnny is a really nice guy who likes toys, back rubs and tummy rubs. He loves being active, but he’s a great relaxation buddy after some exercise. He currently knows sit and come, but classes would be great for bonding and learning more.Johnny 3

OTHER REASONS HE’S SPECIAL: He previously had FHO surgery. If you have questions about this when meeting with Johnny, please ask to speak to a member of our medical staff. Also feel free to consult your regular veterinarian.

DREAM HOME: With an active family who takes him for daily walks and gives him plenty of toys. He’d love to meet any resident dogs before going home with you.

Signed, your cheerleader, Kate

PS – Please Adopt, Don’t Shop.
