Furry Friday – Tux

For the last adorable adoptable from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa for 2016 (and first of 2017, since it will be up until next week), I decided to match the theme of New Year’s Eve.  So, meet Tux!  His name comes from the fact that he’s black and white, so he’s always ready for a party! Below you will find more about him.

Here’s wishing you, and your furbabies, the Happiest of 2017!

Please Adopt, Don’t Shop. -Kate

More from the ARL on Tux:
Tux is an awesome cat who loves other cats and dogs. He is quite the confident fellow, and we’ve seen him come right up to dogs and cats to say hello and rub all over them. He’s a very active cat and would probably do best with older kids.

This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway program — a program designed to give cats a vacation from the shelter and let them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. While vacation is fun, there really is no place like home, so please consider adopting one of these deserving cats! As part of this program, their adoption fee is just $50 each (or $75 for a pair)! To learn more about this cat or schedule a time to meet it, please contact Carol at cgriglione@arl-iowa.org or Betsy at bsalmon@arl-iowa.org.
