While many nonprofits were focused on pulling together their response to how to deal with the impact of COVID-19, Central Iowa Shelter & Services was prepared with a plan in the event of a pandemic. The CISS team went right to work to shift how they provide shelter and meals to help the growing number of people without shelter, those unsure where they will get their next meal.
