Be transported to Italy at the Des Moines Symphony’s Season Finale!

Mendelssohn-Hensel’s effervescent Overture in C Major opens the concert, followed by Mendelssohn’s exuberant Italian Symphony, evoking the country’s vibrant streets and sunlit spirit. George Li dazzles with Saint-Saëns’ Second Piano Concerto. Then, the Civic Center comes to life with blazing brass from every corner in Respighi’s Pines of Rome.
