Why Participate?

  • Because the greatest risk factors for breast cancer are getting older and being a woman.
  • Because breast cancer knows no boundary of age, gender, socioeconomic status, or geographic location.
  • Because one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
  • Because everyone deserves a lifetime.

Check out all the event activities happening onsite this year:

Team T-shirt Competition – Show off your artistic skills and enter your best design in our Team T-shirt Contest!  A panel will judge all entries and select the top 5 shirts, which will be displayed on Race Day for a public vote.  The shirt with the most “votes” ($1 dollar = 1 vote) will be declared the winner.  The winning shirt will be announced during the awards ceremony on Race Day!

Team Tailgaters – Looking for a space all to your own on Race Day??  Our top 5 fundraising teams will receive their own “tailgating” tent.  We will provide each team with tables, chairs, water, a special breakfast and team name signage.  So be sure to start your fundraising early to take advantage of this program!

Best Dressed Team – Make sure to get on all of your best gear, as we will be crowning our best dressed team for the first time this year.  Teams interested in being a part of this competition can enter by having their photo taken on Race morning!

Pink My Potty – It is the opportunity to decorate a single portable restroom, as a group or as an individual, for the cost of a mammogram ($125.00)!
